Know Them Better!!!

Technology undoubtedly is very very useful and important in today’s world. That is a well accepted fact, but sometimes it might happen that we are stuck with a particular technology. Some of these technologies might be so useful in daily life that we should be well versed with the tricks and tips related to this technologies. This not only makes it easier to use them, but it also makes it more effective and efficient. So, I thought about sharing some of the tips and workarounds here. Some of them may be known, but then they are important and thus deserve a place in this blog. So lets see how we can reap rich benefits out of these technologies.

1. Keep your iPhone spotless: What more can I say about iPhone? It would not be an overstatement by any stretch of imagination, if I say that it is one of the most sort after gadgets in recent times. Its design, features and innovative functionalities makes it an object of desire. And for many like me, who are passionate about Apple products, iPhone has become an object of very high value. Now as with any mobile phone, when we use it daily, it is bound to get scratches. But Arrgghhh!!! I (so would many others) wouldn’t want to get a spot on my iPhone. So whats the solution? You can definitely put it into a case and it will surely protect your iPhone well. But it will also hide your iPhone inside the case. I for one would not want to cover my iPhone. After all, it is famous for its look and if I cannot keep it out in the open, then what is the point. IS-IPHONE-3G-EBAY2
The solution is Skin case or the Invisible case. It is just a case which would prevent your iphone from getting scratches and at the same time keep it visible as it is.

Now, what is this invisible shield? It is a transparent, super-strong film which is capable of protecting your iPhone and other sensitive gadgets from scratches. It is originally used by the military to protect the leading edges of helicopter blades from wear and tear. With this military-grade film, I’m pretty sure you can imagine how tough it is – so your iPhone will never scratch!

2. Undo Sent Mails in Gmail: Many a times it might happen that after sending an email you realize that you missed something and wanted to stop it from sending. Gmail provides this option of stopping the sent mails. For enabling this feature you need to do the following steps:
a) Login in to gmail account
b) Click on “Settings”
c) Click on “Labs”
d) In Labs you will find one of the experiments called “Undo Send” (refer the image below). There you need to check the “enable” option.

Once this is done you will see a new “Undo” link in every confirmation message after a mail has been sent. And while the message is getting sent you will be able to see a cancel link just beside the “Sending ….” message. When you click on cancel the mail sending is stopped. In case when you click on the “Undo” link the mail you just sent gets canceled and the compose page opens. You can either cancel it or make the required changes before sending it ultimately. Try it!! If you haven’t.

3. Fix your Windows online: This is going to be the last one for today. But it is surely one of the most important. Most of the Windows XP users would agree to the fact that there systems tend to get slower with time compared to when they first installed the operating system. This happens primarily due to two reasons. Firstly, as we keep using our machine we tend to install many programs and also store multiple files. This strains our computer as more and more of system resources are being used by the computer thus making it slow. Secondly we also unknowingly install many malwares and spywares, thanks to internet and file sharing. These folks contribute to make your the system slower by degrading its health.
So, in such circumstances to gain back the performance that we got in the initially when we loaded the operating system we can use Reimage.

Reimage is a web-based service which runs via ActiveX. It repairs damaged Windows XP systems so that your operating system will give the same performance and speed as it used to give when it was first installed. Reimage repairs Windows XP PCs remotely over the network or internet. It specializes in Windows XP PCs that won’t reboot. To read more about Reimage click here.

Hope these tips makes your technology use more quicker and makes you know them better. I will be back with more such tips and tricks!!
