Is Prabhakaran really alive?

You must have heard about the Tamil magazine Nakkheeran’s claim that they possess the exclusive photographs of ‘already officially cremated’ LTTE Chief Prabhakaran watching a TV broadcast showing his dead body.

Earlier the LTTE officially announced that their supreme commander is alive and healthy. With the confusions prevailing over the death of LTTE Chief , though neither I am sympathizing with the LTTE nor favouring Sri Lankan Army; still I have my own doubts on the LTTE claims that Prabhakaran is still alive.

I have reasons to believe Sri Lankan Army because they possessed ‘his’ corpse alongwith his son Charles Anthony’s body. I have my doubts that Sri Lankan Army killed the ‘real’ Prabhakaran, because they did not declared that they matched his DNA analysis, blood group report or finger prints with the dead body’s biological mapping. Neither LTTE issued anything in support that their Chief is still alive with any such claims.

Apart from these reasons I hardly doubt that the Nakkheeran photos are not fake.

Many Faces of Prabhakaran

Over the years the world saw Prabhakaran change several faces. See here the video of about the unseen pictures of Prabhakaran and his family here, you will notice a pot bellied Prabhakaran. In his very recent pictures he was shown clean shaved. Several of his pictures displayed him as a thick man, in

some pictures he was found wearing reading glasses and the more recent Prabhakaran’s photos shown him sporting well dyed black mustaches but having two very different body proportions. All shown here. See yourself.  The photos below have a clear and distinctly visible facial feature that Prabhakaran had a distinct lower jaw. It had a dimple. Whereas the ‘dead’ Prabhakaran’s face does not sport that dimple.

If you watch this video. You  may be able to differentiate the reality from the claims.  Another video here suggests that possibly he is not alive.  This video elaborates the facts a little more.  If you happen to see the acclaimed Al Jazeera video and the Army Operations and his being alive sort of claims Video you will not take much time to conclude the reality.

In my personal opinion, even if Prabhakaran survived against all the odds, it was just not possible even for a person of his stature to be able to laugh in front of TV watching himself dead amongst the corpse of his own son, wife & closest LTTE aides.
