PDF files are gaining popularity as these files are generally smaller and compact in their size, therefore it is easy to transfer these files. PDF files are also readable and however the files cannot easily manipulated, which makes it a choice format for important documents. Editing an Image in PDF: For this purpose, you can various software programs such as PDF XChange or Inkscape. Your other options include Adobe Illustrator which is arguably the most trusted program for editing images in PDF. You can import your documents to these programs, edit them according to your requirements. Once you are done with all the editing, you can export the documents back. These programs generally provide support for text alterations as well. With these tools, you can alter shapes, annotations, charts and tables etc. OpenOfficeDraw is yet another tool which can help you in all these tasks. The interface for this program is very intuitive and thus is user friendly.
PDF Editing Tools: As described earlier, you need different programs for editing different elements of your file. However, there are some catch-all software which can cater to most of your editing requirements at the basic level. Adobe has some good PDF editors such as Adobe Acrobat professional version and Adobe Illustrator. The latter is not recommended for text editing though. You can also use several plug-ins available such as pdfToolbox of PDF2ID.
So, PDF file format is not only great for safeguarding your documents’ integrity, but now that the files can be amended easily to meet your requirements, the format now looks more user friendly.
