A professional photographer uses his/her skills, talent and techniques to produce best quality photographs. Sufficient light is required to take a picture of any subject or theme. Pictures shot at beautiful locations may act worthless in lack of adequate lights. Photographers take help of artificial lights, flashes and natural light to get their photograph produced up to the best quality. With the advancement and development, day time photography is becoming more popular than night time photography because it do not needs special arrangements to click a picture.

At the present scenario, photography is not limited up to the studios, now it is expanded to the open spaces. Day light plays a crucial role in photography especially for portrait photography, wildlife photography, adventure photography etc. Different pictures shot at the same location or view at various time of a day can have different colors and textures. Some of the pictures are especially shot at the daytime to get appropriate color and quality. Natural light cannot be compared to flashes and artificial lights. As flashes and artificial lights cannot give that significant texture to an image, which is delivered by the natural light.
Light is very important aspect of day time photography, day time and position of the sunlight puts effect on the colors, form and textures of photograph. Different time of a day has different colors and lights. ‘Magic hours’ i.e. sunrise and sunset time has a pink and golden light with a mixture of orange color, both the time are best for shooting the landscapes, rivers and lakes pictures. Most of the photographs for movies, collections and magazines are clicked at this time by the photographers. Light at noontime is very bright, it is known to be best time to click pictures of monuments, sky scrappers and other buildings. In night time, one needs to arrange many things to get appropriate light for taking the photograph of the subject. However, in the day time photography, a photographer does not needs to carry lights and flashes to click any picture.
Professional photographer is capable enough to shot pictures according to the angle of sun light and weather conditions. Natural light is somehow a thing that one cannot change according to the subject of the picture. A professional photographer uses techniques to shot an image of particular theme according to the day light. Day light and position of the sun actually makes a difference in photographs of mountains, rivers, lakes and landscapes. Blue hour is a time of a day after the sun sets in the sky; it is a time when darkness is covering over the light. Some of the photographers shot pictures of landscapes, buildings and monuments.
Thus, most of the photographers get involved in the day time photography because it do not requires arrangements of artificial lights, camera settings and many other special effects. With the increasing demand, day time photography is expanding to new heights by the changing time.
