india-political-mapStability is required for growth and development of any nation. A nation which is not stable always shows negative growth trends, and this creates negative economy. But, what is important among all other things is – how to achieve stability in a multi-social, multi-lingual and multi-dynamic environment? India has a multi ethnic socio economic environment where people from different economic and social structures interact. In such a scenario, maintaining stability and peace becomes a very cumbersome task. Moreover, neighboring nations pose constant threat to the peace and integrity of India. Fanatic nations such as Pakistan and Bangladesh constantly pressurize the Indian borders with anti social and anti national activities. Pakistan serves as an active base and citadel of fanatic Muslim Terrorists and these perpetrators are given additional support from Bangladesh, Nepal and China.

Therefore, in these conditions, it becomes quiet evident to devise the ways for maintaining stability and peace in the region. Political dialog is necessary for maintaining peace and stability. Therefore, governments from the neighboring countries should meet frequently to give way to meaningful bilateral talks, which would serve as the way to ensure economical, financial and structural stability and peace in the region.
India is one of the largest democracies in the world, and this provides plenty of scope for trade and various other economic activities. Becoming a nuclear deterrent power, India has more roles and responsibilities to play.

Remember, ensuring bilateral ties with neighboring countries is the most essential part for stability in the sub continent. Stability, and hence peace only comes when the countries around the region mutually trust each other. Every country should support other country (ies) during the hours of need. The support can come in the form of material, money and in kind. Furthermore, India and its neighboring countries should be developing a common strategy and a platform with higher responsibilities. In the recent times, an able body, South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) has come to play a matured role. The premier body is seen as a key to hold government level interactions at different levels.

Having stockpile of nuclear arsenal or hi-tech arms and ammunition cannot ever result in a stable and peaceful nation. These weapons of mass destructions are just mean to create fear among the people, and fear does not form the base for a stable and peaceful nation. Terrorism is described as the destabilizing factor under present set of conditions, and most importantly, it is playing instrumental role in the development of mistrust among the nations.

Pakistan is the major culprit, who has for more than two decades perpetrated Indian soil for extending her menial designs. Millions have been rendered homeless and thousands have been killed, but the gruesome war of terrorism set forth by Pakistan is still on. Now, the question that comes immediately is –Will Proxy War result into development of stable country? And the answer is NO, Never! India and its neighboring countries should clearly understand that stability is what can come from mutual understanding and mutual trust, and the governments should clearly understand it.
