When Life Smiles at Us.....

When Life Smiles...

I wonder at times if Women are one of  God’s Best Creations in the entire universe. Holding the throne of this vast ocean of womankind :) is the privilege of Motherhood. I feel we still are falling so short in our efforts to recognize and salute the spirit of the millions of mothers around the world. Everyone’s mother is so special and their best in the list of all the mothers of the world:) What are we doing from our side in making this special person feel real special?

This photograph is a part of the collection from which my previous photo blog also comes. It awed me the way this lady was smiling her way out on cooking and working for her family in those sub poverty levels. Every time I clicked a portrait I wondered why none of them asked me for money or if it was for monetary benefit. How the way they reacted to every thing around them left me questioning myself every minute I faced a challenge in my life since that day.

This photograph is dedicated to all those smiling mummies around the world , who despite having bad marriages or failing healths work their days in and out to see their kids smile.

A humble yet serious request to all my dear readers. Never have a forlorn face in front of your dear mothers. It is understandable that something more sever and grave is bothering you at some time in life. But these mothers know nothing other than seeing their children happy and smiling.

So never let anything affect your smile when she is watching you. :) and ya mothers never stop watching you where ever they are in the world. :)

Hi Padmini, all that u said about Mom is true .Motherhood is a very difficult task .Despite that Women carry out that perfectly otherwise the world doesn’t exist.

    Hi Padmini,

Once again this article was really worth appreciating. We never understand our mother and always take them for granted. This was a touchy article that every son or daughter should read. One thing, I noticed that you have included the real portrait of life within your blog. Hope I could learn some good writing tips from you. If you get a time, do visit my blog – http://amarspages.blog.co.in and give me your valuable suggestions. Good going. Best of luck

    Thanks

I am spell bound by the smile of this women in your photograph. I fail to imagine the sufferings she is able to conceal behind this smile. Perhaps, you are able to see that she is clinching her right hand in her left. Perhaps, she has just now burnt her hand while making food for her children. She wouldn’t say that. She will smile and feel happy beyond words when she sees her children eating the food made by her. Her sacrifices know no bounds. She cries, let me tell you that, but her tears, rolling down her cheeks will evaporate when she sees her children smiling.

She is a life-giver. She is a protector. She is a provider. She is a mentor. SHE IS MADE BECAUSE GOD COULDN’T BE EVERYWHERE.

Oh! mother, with you, this world is a heaven for me. Up there, the heaven is shallow without you.

  5. True.. Very True… mothers are the unsung “Heroes” in our lives.. they are taken for granted .. but they are priceless… Nice piece of writing… Keep up :-)

  9. @abhi :)
@satish thank u for the patient reading always .
@rohan how true and factual are the golden words spoken by you.anyone realising their mother’s toil wil never betray her :) god bless us all!

  10. Rohan says:

The mother’s smile is what makes me smile throughout the day. The way she works and takes care of her family,is something spectacular. Her toil would always prevent me from betraying her or getting lost in any wrong path in life because before doing anything wrong, the mother’s voice will always be in my mind.

  11. Satish says:

    Nice one padmini!!!

  12. Abhirup says:

I really don’t have to stop smiling even if I am sad, in front of my mom. She just comes and sees my forlorn face, and instantly makes out something is wrong. She asks me to share the grief I have, and I do. She gives an explanation and the mental pain goes away immediately so that I have to smile eventually.
I often feel surprised how females really have so powerful emotion and intelligence in their minds which make them good mothers. We males really lack a lot when it comes to empathy and sharing hearts with others.

  13. Now I feel like doing something for mum..

  14. nikhil salute to the spirit of motherhood.. :) we r all just here coz of them. keep smiling momz watching :)

  15. Nikhil says:
